| My general interests include: writing, reading, literature, history, philosophy, music, nature/the environment, Japan, travel, England, and politics. I'm working towards a Master's Degree in Postcolonial and Asian Literature (and eventually a doctorate degree). I'm also working on writing a book trilogy (book one is almost finished). Outside of my school/professional life, my world revolves around everything related to Japan. I've loved the country and its culture for a VERY long time -- especially the music and my music collection is almost exclusively Japanese and Korean. I'm a huge fan of KAT-TUN -- they are my absolute FAVORITE group and my favorite KATTUN boys are Akanishi Jin and Kamenashi Kazuya. I love Akame! Every now and then I'll write fun and romantic fanfics (sometimes some angst) about Akame -- because I believe in their love! XD I'm also a big fan of Tackey & Tsubasa (Takizawa Hideaki was my first JE love) and Tohoshinki. My all-time favorite TV show is Supernatural -- I watch it religiously and you'll see me blog about it here every Thursday night! I also love True Blood with a passion. All in all, I love to fangirl, meet new friends from all across the globe, and gossip about idols, so please send me a messege and I'll more than likely add you, especially if we have things in common!
